- Invoice number, issue date, due date and the elevations covered
- Squares of siding installed, by product, profile and colour
- Tear-off of existing cladding, by square, and its disposal
- Sheathing replaced by sheet count, billed against the agreed allowance
- House wrap and window flashing, itemised rather than assumed
- Trim, corner posts, J-channel and soffit by linear foot
- Openings — windows and doors — counted, as each carries its own detail
- Scaffolding or staging for second-storey elevations
