This invoice should carry
- Invoice number, issue date, due date and the service address
- Equipment by model and serial number — the warranty is registered against these
- Tonnage or BTU capacity installed, stated on the invoice not just the quote
- Deposit received, with its date, subtracted from the total
- Labour as technician hours × rate, with a second tech shown separately
- Refrigerant by type and weight added beyond the factory charge
- Permit and mechanical inspection as pass-through lines
- Manufacturer warranty term and the labour warranty you carry, stated separately
